the lake ~~~ is it time to change the policy?
—————————————–what a splendid weekend at alpine. sunny skies and awkward temps, you couldn’t require for much more on memorial day weekend. and i, along with tons folks, decided to take benefit of the weather and enjoy our handsome lake. our choice of advantage… kayaks. absolutely a must for anyone who enjoys the water. very peaceful, and a little exercise to boot!as no surprise, we shared the lake with many folks. after all, it’s a big lake. but what was a surprise was the number of non-property owners using the lake. just about all of them trying their fortuity fishing. this activity has seemed to increase clear a tittle since the stocking of trout. boy, those fish must be common! at times, the roadway along the lake has become a parking lot. possibly those in responsibility don’t yearning to face the facts, but the public (and a few employees) have been using and abusing something we pay quest of. that’s right, our assessment dollars pay for the Facetious Adam’s ale testing, fish stocking, clean-up and everything else related to the lake. and then we onset a tiny fee for someone to come in and take as many fish as they’d like. contemporarily, that’s not the rules, but who’s there to counterfoil the limits of these ‘guest fishermen’? i’m not saying they all break the rules, but this is what happens. some ruin it over the extent of all. whether a fisherman not stopping by the lodge to take-home pay for his pass or launching permit, or an employee bring in all his friends & neighbors, the disrespect shown to our community is chic more obvious.just a few observations from this finished week—- fishermen lined up along w. alpine. as the fishermen left, their trash stayed behind.– portion publicly fishermen launching a boat without launching permit & fishing pass. — stringer of trout seen, amiably outstanding the daily limitso here’s the administer… the time has come to make the lake available to trait owners sole! and of course, their guests. no public passes. and employees could get off on the lake on everyone or two stipulated days a month… wage-earner fishing day.i would love to hear what all property owners think about this, especially those running for positions on the board.—————————————–
